St. Croix Energy is an energy solutions provider committed to protecting people and the planet. Our initial goal is to safely process low sulfur, sweet crude oil at the St. Croix Refinery, which will enable us to minimize our carbon footprint while playing an important part in supporting energy resilience in the Virgin Islands.
Who We Are
From there, we plan to meet the needs of an energy-thirsty world that has net-zero ambitions by incorporating the production of sustainable, low-carbon fuels, including renewable diesel (RD) and sustainable aviation fuel (SAF). Our modern, newly renovated refinery has a capacity of more than 200,000 barrels per day of petroleum feedstock and will eventually produce 10,000 barrels of renewable fuels per day.
As we prepare the refinery to resume production, we’re also taking steps to restore and protect the local environment. In collaboration with local experts, we’re working now to develop a practical strategy for ecosystem restoration across the south shore of St. Croix.
